NOT A GREAT SIGN FOR THE FUTURE

Need another reason not to pre-order games? Bethesda just gave you one and, in doing so, proved an important points about sending out review copies.

People who were eagerly waiting for Dishonored 2’s release date now have to deal with some disappointment, especially those who pre-ordered the game to play a day early, as it is a glitchy mess.

A FINE ARGUMENT FOR HUNTING WOLVES INTO EXCTINCTION

There are a lot of games built around the idea of survival in an unhospitable place. Often these also have zombies running around, which never fails to raise the question of why you wouldn’t try to survive anywhere else.

In most of these games, you eventually become something of a god of the wilderness, lugging around a presumably massive backpack full of crafting materials and DIY survival tools. The Long Dark says screw all that and sets out to remind you that you’d be a massive liability in any sort of survival situation.

LIFE IS STRANGE, BUT MAYBE IT SHOULD BE

When people first recommended Life is Strange to us, we had a bunch of other games to play and we just never got around to it until about a week ago. Over the course of 4 episodes we fell utterly in love with the game and the story it presented us with and now…Now we’ve played episode 5: Polarity. We’ve reached the end.

It’s always a weird feeling, seeing something you love end. On the one hand it offers closure, if done properly. There’s nowhere else to go, the story is done. Characters will live on, or they won’t, but the part you witnessed is over either way.

Look, before we get into this, you should obviously stop reading if you haven’t played Life is Strange all the way through. SPOILERS, PEOPLE! Furthermore, we won’t really be going into much detail on the choices we made in previous episodes. Just know that we did everything we could to help Chloe.

While this game received very good scores from pretty much everyone, it was the sort of game we were not expecting to like. Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised when we quickly grew to love it. Yeah, we’re kinda late to the party with this review…In fact we missed the party entirely and now the cleaning staff is giving us weird looks because we’re dancing by ourselves and-Look, we’re doing this review anyway.

Of course, as we got further into the game we began to hate it, but then we began to love it again. Then some new quests unlocked and we began to hate it ag-Look, long story short, we’ve developed something of a love-hate relationship with the game.

ALSO KNOW AS ATTACK ON TITAN: THROWN IN THE TRASH

Companies tend to make a pretty big fuss whenever they’re working on a game. Mainly because they’re trying to generate hype. They want you to get exited before you actually know what a game is like. You have to wonder, then, what’s going on when a game that should be jumping up and down and screaming into a megaphone tries to scoot by unnoticed.

…Well, sometimes there’s a reason for that.

Pokémon Rumble World Recensie

Rumble World
