DIFFERENT WASTELAND, SAME JERKS

If you’re tired of Fallout 4 but you don’t want to give up on the post-apocalyptic feel quite yet, Sheltered is probably the game for you.  Granted there’s no portable nuclear missile launchers to run around with, but there is a dog you can name Dogmeat. Besides, there’s not a lot of other games that ask “What if the Sims wound up in a post-apocalypse world?”

Fallout 4 Review

FALLOUT, FALLOUT NEVER REALLY CHANGES

Telling you this game is good is somewhere up there with telling you that water is wet or that Call of Duty fans would blow their own foot off the moment you hand them a gun in terms of obviousness.  If you liked Fallout 3, this is basically that with some very welcome changes, so you’ll like this.

The new Mad Max trailer looks Insane(ly good)

Get busy driving, or get busy dying, for the new Mad Max trailer is looking positively sick. We can’t say we’ve ever had a shot of heroin, but if it’s anywhere near as exciting as this two and a half minute rush of adrenaline we’ll be hitting up our local street-dealer first thing tomorrow.


Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), standing in for Mel Gibson as the slightly-less-deranged Max, and Charlize Theron (Snow White and the Huntsman), as escape artist Imperator Furiosa, certainly got us excited for Fury Road, which will see a worldwide release this May.

The trailer kicks off with Max trying desperately to escape from the rusty hatchets of Immortan Joe, the film’s big bad warlord portrayed by Hugh Keays-Byrne, and his cronies. His escape proves only a slight success however, as this mad world is quick to pull Max back in as Max gets involved in Furiosa’s daring ploy to liberate the warlord’s many young sex slaves.
